Intended use
The hyaluronidase contained in FertiCult™ rinse medium is used in the oocyte denudation process in preparation for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) or other assisted reproduction techniques. Hyaluronidase digests hyaluronic acid between cumulus cells, facilitating mechanical removal of the cumulus.
Hyaluronidase in FertiCult™ rinse medium is ready to use.
Composition
The hyaluronidase contained in FertiCult™ rinse medium is a HEPES-buffered medium that also contains bicarbonate, physiological salts, glucose, lactate, pyruvate, human serum albumin (4.0 g/l, a medicinal substance derived from human blood plasma) and 80 IU/ml of bovine-derived hyaluronidase.
